Google Assistant coming to more phones and tablets


Google Assistant has been one of the most loved virtual assistant. Google launched the assistant in the Pixel phone in 2016. After the launch, Google assistant is being integrated into phones, speakers, watches and much more.

Google today announced Android tablet running Android 7.0 Nougat and 6.0 Marshmallow and phones that are running 5.0 Lollipop is getting the Assistant.

One of the features that intrigue users are the ability to continue the conversation with the assistant. On the tablet, you can set reminders and make a list of the task and control the smart devices like plugs and lights. You can also ask assistant about the weather and much more.


In the beginning of the year, Google announced the Assistant to the phones that are running Android 6.0 and phones which have higher Google Play services. Today, Google announced to roll out the Google Assistant in phones running Android 5.0 Lollipop to help users take its advantage. Users which have set their language to English in US, UK, India, Australia, Canada, and Singapore, as well as in Spanish in the US, Mexico, and Spain. Google also plans to roll out to the users in Italy, Japan, Germany, Brazil, and Korea. After the update, You will find the Assistant app on the " All Apps list".
