What's the Innovation?

Dan Bell wants to turn real world maps into J.R.R. Tolkien's middle Earth map style like he made in Lord of  the Rings and the Hobbit. This art looks amazing and best part is, its completely handmade and sketched.

Story of Formation:

Dan Bell began by drawing out Tolkien's Middle-Earth, purely out of interest. He posted a picture of this online, and after receiving such widespread praise, He decided to apply the style to real world maps. His current project is to draw out all 15 of the UK's national parks in this style.
